The Meadows Community is one of the most well-established Sarasota neighborhoods. It is located in Sarasota County, just west of I-75 and north of University Parkway. With over 1600 acres, the Meadows community properties are comprised of over 3400 homes including condos, villas, and single-family homes. The community offers the Meadows Golf Club, tennis, and 13 miles of bike and walking trails which wind throughout the nature inspired community. The Meadows Shopping Village with its shops and dining is situated in the heart of the community.
The Meadows is a deed restricted community, divided into a number of fine neighborhoods with homes starting from the low $200,000’s. Home prices vary depending on the location, age, size of the home, upgrades and condition of the home.
The community was developed in the early 1980’s by Taylor Woodrow, and offers more than 80 serene lakes, 17 miles of roads, and 1.7 miles of walking trails.

Things to Do Near the Meadows
